Refreshingly tart Tobi currants

Clusters of tiny gems

There are redcurrants and white currants. They are popular in desserts, on top of cakes and in baked goods. The milder varieties can be enjoyed plain. Their tart, sour flavour is extremely refreshing. In German-speaking countries, currants are named after John the Baptist, and are said to ripen every year in time for the Feast of Saint John, which falls at the end of June. Once they are ripe, Tobi Seeobst AG is dedicated to carefully storing and sorting these fruits and selling them to the customer as fresh and delicious as possible. Currants are chock-full of vitamins and minerals.
